About the Property
Situated on 10 private acres, our cozy cabin is the perfect base for your next adventure and offers all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay.
2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom
Both bedrooms have complete bed linens with extra blankets, pillows, and sheets provided. The nightstands in both rooms have traditional outlets on top for easy reach, as well as USB for charging your electronic devices. The Master bedroom also offers USB-C.
There is a TV in each room with a Firestick and streaming services from Hulu, and Amazon Prime, and a Blu-Ray/DVD Player in the 2nd bedroom. You’ll also find a playpen, twin size trundle bed, and twin size rollaway bed for your use. And we have an ironing board and iron in the master closet for you too.
The bathroom features a tub/shower combo and is stocked full of clean, fresh towels. We also supply toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap and body wash. We have a hair dryer for your use. The cabin is on a septic system, so if you prefer to bring your own toilet paper, it MUST be septic safe. “Flushable Wipes” are not allowed to be flushed down the toilets as they will clog the septic.
Fully Equipped Kitchen
We have a gas oven/stove, full size refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, toaster, blender, crock pot, rice cooker, electric hand mixer, outdoor BBQ grill, and supplies for baking. See the full list of kitchen items here.
We provide starter packs of ground coffee, coffee filters, basic cooking oils and spices, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher pods, paper towels, and trash bags.
Bring the Kids & Dogs
We have a playpen (with sheets), high chair, and dishes/sippy cups available for use for your baby and/or toddler. There is a child-lock on the basement door and outlet covers on all of the low open outlets. The older kids can enjoy board games and outdoor games too.
We also feel that “family” includes your fur babies. Dogs are welcome at Cedar Grove Cabin. We have water and food bowls on site for your use, as well as pet cots and towels for muddy paws.
Remote Work
We have a dedicated, laptop-friendly workspace with complimentary, unlimited Starlink high-speed Internet.
Enjoy the Great Outdoors
We have coolers, and beach towels for you to take with you to the river. We also have a fabulous front porch for relaxing and dining, several outdoor games, a picnic table with charcoal grill, and a large fire pit for you to warm up with and make s’mores!
Washer / Dryer
There is a washer and dryer in the basement for your use. We do not supply laundry soap or fabric softener. If you bring your own, it MUST be septic safe.
Safety / Security
A first aid kit, fire extinguishers, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detector are on the property at all times.
There are five security cameras located on the outside of the property (one at each door, one at the shed and one at the driveway gate) and a security gate at the entrance to the property. They do not record audio and are not actively monitored when the cabin is occupied.
Renting the Cabin
We require a valid photo ID (driver’s license or government-issued) and rental contract to be signed within 48 hours of booking. Additionally, a $500 security deposit hold on a valid credit card will need to be authorized 3 days before the check-in date.
