Our cozy living room, fully equipped kitchen, and super comfy bedrooms provide the perfect blend of comfort and convenience for your getaway. Both bedrooms have complete bed linens with extra blankets, pillows, and sheets provided. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed & twin trundle bed in the 2nd bedroom, and a twin rollaway bed. This was our second stay here, and it was just as wonderful as the first! This is truly one of the best rentals we’ve ever experienced. The cabin is charming and equipped with modern amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and appliances, and the hosts have thoughtfully provided clear instructions for using everything, including the gas fireplace. To top it off, the cabin was beautifully decorated for Christmas, adding a festive touch to our stay. We will absolutely be returning.

This cabin was perfect! It had every accommodation you could ever need. It is very clean, completely stocked kitchen, very functional and adorable decor. It was even stocked with toys for our dog. They have literally thought of everything.Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be returning in the future!

We so enjoyed our own little piece of paradise tucked back in he woods. My husband, our daughter, and her husband had been to your cabin a few months ago when they were in the area for a wedding. They tried to tell me how wonderful it was. I just didn't get it, but now I do! So comfortable and so inviting. The owners have really exercised their gift of hospitality to make sure their guests' every need is met. Now I'm torn between telling our friends and family about this sweet place, and keeping this a secret getaway just for ourselves.

My visit to Cedar Grove Cabin was a 5 day girls trip. We had a glorious stay. Melissa provided everything we would need. The Cabin is absolutely beautiful. The grounds were great. The surroundings were peaceful. All of us commented that we would visit again. Thank You Melissa for helping to make this a trip to remember. I give Melissa and Cedar Grove Cabin 5 Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

Melissa was a great host. Lots of communication before/during/after stay. She is very accessible. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need, including spices and coffee creamer/sugar. High quality linens and bath towels. Super clean everything. Shower had surprisingly good water pressure for a log cabin in the country. QR codes available for more info. Internet was slower -- but she was upfront about that. The firepit was very nice and the lawn chairs so comfortable. In fact, lots of great seating spots -- outside on porch, picnic table, nice dining table inside, comfy couches. Beds were also very cozy. This is also a very good location for seeing some nice attractions, state parks, and fun little towns. Short distance drives to MANY places. And since Melissa's cabin is dog-friendly, everyone got to enjoy the stay! She even had a dog bed! We saw a family of wild turkeys, multiple deer, a few lizards, hawks (and cows in the neighbors pasture).

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Cedar Grove Cabin is the perfect cozy getaway. Melissa and Chris were top notch hosts providing every amenity you could ask for. Our family will definitely be back.

What an amazing stay we had at Cedar Grove Cabin! Melissa did not cut any corners on this amazing hideaway. 10 acres, 2 bedrooms, a large fire ring make this a great spot for a family or couples to enjoy some downtime. Our favorite part was watching the sunset as we listened to the nature come to life. Staring at the stars in complete peace and tranquillity is an added bonus. The beds were amazing!! The linens are fabulous and are a very welcoming touch.We can’t wait to visit again with our out of town guests for our next event.

Our weekend at the cabin was so relaxing! Everything was perfect. The cabin was beautiful, beds were SOOO comfortable and the town of Bourbon had some fun places to eat, shop and hike. If you're looking for a place to relax and unwind, I cannot recommend this cabin enough. The hosts are very accommodating too.

Chris and Melissa were super responsive and were excellent hosts to work with during our stay. We expected to just relax in the woods but ended up spending time in town in Bourbon and loved it. It’s so quaint and a refreshing change of pace where everyone knows each other and every stranger treats you like family. Just mention you’re staying at Melissa’s cabin and they will treat you like royalty. We would recommend this gorgeous cabin to anyone.

FAQ – Missouri Cabin Rental

We are located just a short drive to Meramec River (13 minutes to Onondaga Cave State Park to put in your own equipment) or less than 20 minutes to popular outfitters to rent equipment like Blue Springs Ranch and Ozark Outdoors. We are also located about 30-40 minutes to Huzzah and Courtois Creeks.

Yes! We allow up to 2 dogs and have dog bowls, a pet cot, and towels to use for your dogs on site. We also have a dog poo station with bags to contain their waste. Please list number of pets on your reservation request so our cleaners know what to expect.

Yes! We have Starlink High-Speed Internet. We’re seeing speeds between 50-165 Mpbs upload, and about 15 Mbps download. All TVs are smart TVs with streaming service, and we do have complimentary Hulu and Amazon Prime available. There is also a DVD player on site if you want to watch movies.

We do require a 2 night minimum stay on weekends, 3 nights during Holiday weekends. No minimum during week days. Check availability here.

Check-In is 3 pm, Check-Out is 11 am.

Yes, we have complete bed linens with extra pillows & blankets, as well as bath & kitchen towels for you. We even have beach towels you can take to the river or the Sullivan pool. See the full list of amenities here.

For our standard cancellation policy, guest receives 100% refund if cancelled within 48 hours of booking. Guest also receives a 100% refund (less credit card fee incurred) if cancellation occurs more than 14 days before arrival. Guest receives 50% refund (less credit card fee incurred) if cancellation occurs more than 7 days before arrival. No refunds within 7 days of arrival.

Guest has the option to purchase trip insurance to help if you need to cancel outside of the cancellation window.
