Our Story…
Hello! I’m Melissa, and I’m thrilled to share the story of Cedar Grove Cabin with you. As a travel enthusiast, I’ve always preferred staying in unique Airbnb-style places over hotels. The extra space, full kitchens, and distinctive homes make for unforgettable experiences. When I talked my husband in to creating our own vacation rental, we decided we wanted it to be special, offering guests a chance to make amazing memories.
Our Journey…
After 10 months of searching, we found the perfect property in 2022. My husband Chris and I then spent 6 months transforming it into the ideal vacation spot for families and friends. This project was a labor of love, taking over 2 years of planning, learning, and creating to turn our vision into reality. We are beyond excited to welcome you to enjoy this beautiful space.
History of the Cabin…
Cedar Grove Cabin, built in 1978 from a white pine log kit, has a unique story. It was originally intended to be an A-Frame design, but the wrong materials were sent, resulting in the charming ranch style we have today. The half basement was poured to support the A-Frame, but the original owners adapted and made it work. The cabin was completely rehabbed a few years ago and is now surrounded by beautiful cedar trees, which inspired its name.
Our goal is to provide a memorable experience for you. The spacious property, cozy interiors, and beautiful natural surroundings make Cedar Grove Cabin the perfect getaway to relax and create lasting memories.
